On the occasion of Christine Corday: The Sun is the Way, the artist’s exhibition at noisé reading room, seventeen oxidizing monoprints from the Relative Points (2017) series are published as a limited-edition collection, and presented alongside the original works.
Created as a special project for Corday’s first exhibition in China, the edition marks the first time Relative Points has been made available in an intimate format, and Christine Corday’s first collaboration with an art publisher on a collectible edition. Extending her ongoing exploration of matter, transformation, and our shared elemental origins, these works offer another way to enter a foundational body of work—one that continues to move between hands, lives, and conversations.
For both the artist and noisé, this edition carries particular significance: Relative Points enters a new phase of circulation—moving from hand to hand, person to person—continuing the work’s reflection on our shared material existence and the connections that bind us.

Christine Corday (b. 1970, Laurel, Maryland; lives and works in New York) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work investigates matter, energy, and transformation. Corday is widely recognized for her large-scale public sculptures.
Working across the intersections of art and science, she has collaborated with scientists and research institutions internationally for more than three decades. Corday is the sole artist participating in ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor), a global research initiative exploring fusion energy. Her work has been exhibited at institutions including the High Line, New York, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), and the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis.
